Dog Pound 3D

Round up the strays. Find them homes.

Loose dogs are running around the yard. Walk into one to leash it, lead a whole line of them back to the kennel, and hand them off to the adopters waiting at the booth. Miss too many and they bolt out the front gate. Press V to drop into the dogs' eye view.

Hawaiian Invaders

Retro shooter, island edition.

Rows of invaders creep down the screen and you're the only thing between them and the ground. Slide left and right, keep firing, and spend the points you earn in the shop to upgrade your gun before the next wave shows up.

Scrap 3D

A tiny survival world in the woods.

Chop wood, mine stone, and craft the tools you need before hunger wears you down. Wolves come out after dark, so put up walls while there's still light and sleep through the night to heal. Every day you last gets harder.

Rival Arena

You against three bots. First to 15 wins.

A fast target match in a small arena. You get two blasters: one for hitting things far away, one that sprays up close. Getting knocked out only costs you three seconds, so the trick is to never stop moving.

Frontline 3D

Hold the trench, one day at a time.

A survival strategy game set along a trench line. Stay low behind cover, make your supplies last, and spend what you earn on gear, squadmates, and sandbags you place yourself. The longer you hold out, the higher your rank climbs.

How I made these

I started summer break with the 2D shooter because it was the only kind of game I knew how to build. By August I was making 3D worlds with hundreds of things moving at once. The hardest part was 3D cameras — figuring out how the view should follow a character without spinning off into the sky.

Everything here is HTML and JavaScript running straight in a browser tab. Nothing to install, no account to make, and no ads. If you want to try building one too, come find me at school.
